That's interesting because I actually think OG is a little bit overrated. Sharpe/OG/Barnes together would be the optimal fit really. He is going to be a good player for the next half decade and is actually an extremely good fit with Barnes. OG at his best is one of the, if not the, best perimeter defender in the NBA, and a guy who (when in his optimal offensive slot) is a guy who is uber efficient (3 seasons of 60+TS%). They also compliment each other extremely well offensively. Closer in age, bother guys under team control for another 6/7 and 7/8 years respectively. Better is a loaded term, but right now I think Barnes and OG are better.īut at this stage, right now for the raptors, I’d rather build around Barnes and Sharpe.
